A few months ago we had the pleasure of touring the Boston Brewery and got an inside look at how the Sam Adams beers are made. We took a brief tour of the facilities and received a nice history lesson on the beer itself. At the very end of the tour they take you into a small bar looking area and give you a sample of 3 different beers.
We tasted the following beers:
I enjoyed the Summer Ale, which I'd had before and the other 2 were fine...but I've come to a conclusion about Sam Adams Beers in general. If it's a wheat-style beer then I usually like it, but anything else by them just doesn't taste that great to me. Overall, it was fun to see the place and get a better idea of how beer is made, but let's not kid ourselves...it's no trip to Belgium.
